The person behind
the blog

Welcome to Steel Minds. I'm DN (keeping this hidden for now) — someone who believes the gym is one of the best tools for building a better life and mind, not just a better body.

I've had a lot of trouble handling my own mental health for a long time. It's taken me a long time to finally realize that I need change and I've started those changes. I'm not done, I don't always make the right decisions, but I'm on a pretty good track. I've been in the gym on and off since I was 16. When I used to be consistent I was at my mental best. I stopped, got back to a bad headspace, recently have gotten back into it not only permanently, but it also helped me find a better way to manage my mental strength. Now I'm obsessed with the success of myself.

This blog is where I write about training, habits, and mindset. The physical side matters. So does everything the gym teaches you off the floor. Just some honest writing from someone who sees the effects in himself.

Hopefully this ends up a community. I'll add a comment section eventually.
